Its looking more and more obvious that there are well known connections between domestic hot water systems and legionella bacteria that causes Legionnaires’ disease, a occasionally deadly infectious disease that causes major problems. The right conditions for the proliferation of the Legionnaires disease are made once the bacteria known as legionella is in the presence of warm water systems between twenty and forty-five degrees Celsius that are usually found in hotels, hospitals, cruise ships & also other large buildings with intricate water distribution systems and cooling towers. When the water system is contaminated, because of tiny airborne droplets of water (aerosols), Legionella bacteria gets into our lungs and results in legionnaires disease.
