The Continuous Cycle Starts

Just talk to an average female and she will tell you that she is not happy with herself or weight. She will probably tell you that being obese girl is not a problem for her, but she will say this because she is out of options if she does not make a change. Exercise and a good diet is the best way to take the weight off. However, due to her large size, she is not able to exercise without experiencing discomfort. Every time that she tries to exercise, she gets short winded.

As a result, this causes her to just sit around the house and high blood pressure and type two diabetes enter the picture. Diabetes and high blood pressure are expensive in terms of medical treatment. She either accumulates high medical bills or has to pay for expensive medication to treat her condition. Unfortunately, this is now cutting into her finances. She starts to fall behind on her bills, which sinks her into a deep depression. She realizes that things are not going to get any better unless she loses weight, but she is too fatigued most days to do anything about it. She realizes that obesity is not making her life any better. But she feels too helpless to make the needed changes to get her lifestyle back on track.

Does this situation sound closely similar to your own? This type of scenario plays out for many different American women. Not only is obesity hard for you physically, but it starts to negatively affect your mind as well.

Ways that it Affects the Body

Being overweight can lead to heart disease. The extra fat in your body will lead to plaque build up in your coronary arteries. This will decrease the amount of oxygen rich blood that is transported to your heart. Unfortunately, too much of a build up can cause you to suffer from an heart attack. This plaque can also make your heart malfunction too.

Obesity can cause strokes. Just like with heart disease, the plaque will build up. But instead of causing a heart attack, the plaque can break off into smaller pieces and turn into a blood clot. When this blood clot moves in close proximity of your brain, it can cut off the flow of oxygen to your brain. This will make you have a stroke.

Obesity makes fat transform into estrogen, which will cause buildup. Many people are not knowledgeable about it, but estrogen can make the female body to get out of whack if there is too much of supply. First, it might cause your reproductive organs to become cancerous. The high amounts of fat will increase the production of insulin in the body. As a result, your body will produce more cancer cells. Secondly, too much estrogen will cause your menstrual cycle to be off balanced. You will not ovulate on a monthly basis, if estrogen and progesterone are not in balanced.

If there is not the right amount of progesterone and estrogen, then you will not be able to ovulate. This means that even if you did want to get pregnant, your body will not release an egg for fertilization. Obesity is one of the main reasons that many women cannot get pregnant. They have too much estrogen in their bodies. Your only option is to lose weight in order to get your reproductive system back in order. For most women, it would only take them to lose about 20 percent of their body weight and their menstrual cycle will become regulated once more.

In conclusion, obesity will make you remain in a continuous cycle that you cannot get out of. Between the medical conditions, expensive medications and changes in finances, this can also sink you into a deep depression. Change your life for the better.
