The Surprising Truth About Human Nutrition

As people we evolved to dominate this planet by way of our intelligence, that intelligence was driven by the rapid expansion of our brains by way of nutrition, particularly from omega 3 fats (read great nutrition). Even so it looks we are in a really peculiar predicament, 1 in which it looks we are starting to devolve, particularly in terms of intelligence for a huge component of the human race. I say this as last week I came across two pieces of moronic idiocy that are beyond belief and 1 piece of corporate greed that smacks of the sentiment “I do not care about your health and longevity as prolonged as I make money”!

I was watching BBC breakfast earlier in the week when the presenter stated that scientists (i.e. full idiots) had been suggesting that we must go back to the old age tradition of consuming toast sandwiches, that’s proper – two pieces of bread with a piece of toast as the filling! It was claimed that this offered us with protein and vitamins and minerals such as iron and only cost 7p per serving. Effectively there in lies 1 of the issues – our insatiable need for inexpensive meals. In my viewpoint immediately after you have paid your tax and NI, paid your rent or mortgage and your travel costs to go to function, meals must be the next most vital that you purchase. Excellent high quality meals, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish. Organic if you can afford it. Meals must not be behind nights out, alcohol, cigarettes, iphone, wi-fi and world wide web charges, Sky bill etc… on your list of priorities. But that is another argument for another time.

What these scientists (full idiots) do not recognise is that consuming that meal will not supply you with the protein your physique demands (most vegetarians realise they require to combine grains with legumes to get a total spectrum of amino acids), there might be some vitamins and minerals that might contribute to puny RDA ranges but nowhere near adequate to promote great well being, the bread is higher GL which will play havoc with your blood sugar ranges, there will be inadequate fibre for human dietary demands, there are no crucial fats in bread and to top rated it off you will get a whacking fantastic load of gluten that will injury your intestines and contribute to IBS, crohn’s, autoimmune issues and other ailments. I won’t be following their guidance!

The next bit of idiocy that I saw was from the EU bureaucrats in Brussels who in their wisdom and immediately after 3 many years of investigation (most likely at the cost of the tax payer) identified no proof to demonstrate that drinking water prevented dehydration. Now firms are banned from claiming this on their merchandise. Thinking about that we are made from 60-70% water do we actually require to scientifically demonstrate this? Whatever next, do we require to do scientific scientific studies to demonstrate we require oxygen as nicely?

The last factor I read was the story that the producers of aspartame have altered the title of the product to aminosweet. It is also sold beneath names like NutraSweet and Canderel.
