Starch = 1 item (object): These kinds of crackers are allowed: 1 Ryvita Bread Rusks, 4 “Stone Ground Wheat Thins”, single Melba toast, 1 Kavli Bread Rusks, 4 Biscuits Soda, or Grissini.
Substitution: one quarter cup nonfat yogurt sweetened together with Stevia can eat in place of a fruit or vegetable once a day. It can use 3 eggs (1 complete 2 egg whites) or 1/2 cup fat-free ricotta their protein every now and then.
Condiments: You can use the juice of a lemon or lime with each meal. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, oregano, together with almost the majority of other herbs or spices can be used as condiments. It is certainly not permitted to use any oil, butter, or seasonings. The 8 items allowed per day can be divided into 2 meals (1 each: protein, vegetables, fruit, starch) or may be eat throughout the day.
