Yet another option for opalescence tooth whitening, and normally fitted by your dentist, is a bleach solution mouth guard. Used over two weeks, a bleaching solution is added to a mouth guard and effectively bleaches the teeth. This product is best used at night.

Of course Cosmetic dentists have more techniques in which to whiten your teeth, with laser treatment being the most successful. However, advanced treatment like this can be costly and recently people are tending to use home methods rather than pay a visit to their dentist.

Oral hygiene is very important and it’s crucial to clean your teeth, even from a young age. Frequent checkups at the dentist are vital and cutting back on coffee, fizzy drinks and sweets can help fight against discolouring and plaque.

Be patient with whichever method you choose. Both home and dentists methods do not work overnight, however, results can be seen from as early as two weeks.
