If you think that only fat people have arms that are flabby, think again. In reality, most women who fall under the range of normal body weight are also victims of flabby arms. These are the same women who struggle to find the right solution to their problem and some of them even consider surgical options such as arm liposuction to get rid of the flab.
If only everyone could afford such an expensive surgical procedure. The good news is, you do not have to go through surgery to learn how to tone your arms. There is a safe and natural way to do just that. You wouldn’t lose anything (except flab) if you try this very basic method of toning your flabby arms.
How to get rid of flabby arms effectively? Basically, that can be done through adopting arm exercises that actually produce good results. Yes, there are specific exercises that address the issue of flabby arms and you can do this even at the comfort of your own home and reap the results afterwards. These exercises are grouped into two types; those with weights and those without. Keep in mind that though the exercise is the same, different people might respond to this exercise in varied ways. Others might get ahead of you in terms of seeing results faster.
Here are some of the things you can do in order to learn how to tone your arms the same way you grow chest muscles:
How to tone your arms with barbells
You may opt for a 3-pound or a 5-pound dumbbell for this workout routine. Perform a dumbbell or a barbell curl for your arms to get toned. Perform each curl ten times in order to make a set. You need to complete at least three sets for the arm curls. Slowly perform each curl so that you are hitting your arms muscles properly. It is important that you are performing the routine accurately so that you get results faster.

Stand straight and keep your feet shoulder-width apart. Step either your left foot or right foot forward and then bend your knees slightly. This is actually a boxer stance. Perform punching movements with each of your fists. Whether you start with your right or left is totally up to you. Punch the air in front of you as if there’s an invisible punching bag present!Pretend that there is a punching bag in front of you and punch it intensely. 20 alternating punches is a good number for toning your arms. Remember to always make sure that your arms are at shoulder level in every punch that you make. After punching the air in front of you, do the same thing with the air above your head. Fully extend your arms every time you punch and feel the arm muscles reacting to you every move.
Doing 20 punches in front and 20 punches above the head will create one powerful arm routine set. Finish up to three sets per session and your arms will thank you. If you have this more often, you can increase the number of sets to five.
One concern for women with arm toning exercises is the fear that they might build muscles into their arms. You surely do not want that to happen. To avoid building unnecessary bulk, keep your weights to at most 5 pounds. This ensures that you are just toning and firming your arms and not really wanting to build big muscles on that specific area.
