Does Open Space Influence You? The Truth Will Probably Surprise You

Strengtheningmental health is a huge industry. Simply do a easy Google search and you will see literally millions of results. Although did you realize that the science behind modern neurology is fairly recent? Like a 100 years young? And that is not even taking into account the latest finding of neuroplasticity (your brain’s ability to modify) – a finding that changed what how neurologists see the brain and the birth of brain exercises and memory exercises.
In this post, I want to show you two things that most folks fail to do when it comes to retaining and improving their mental health. As the science is very new, don’t be surprised if even experts omitted these. Here we go.
1. You might by now understand that brain exercises can strengthen brain capacity. That is because when approached by a challenge, your brain changes and become stronger, much like your muscles. Although did you realize that there’s a vital component that scientists take for granted? When challenges were presented to two batch of mouse – one in a group with regular social interaction and the other group in isolation, the outcome were totally inconsistent. The mouse in groups had more neurons – as foreseen – but the brains of the rats in isolation actually wasted away! That’s right, brain exercises can strengthen your mental health, although that is true only if you have normal social interaction.
2. You might not know that but open space has an extensive influence on your psychology. A study was once ran by John B. Calhoun, again on mouse. When space is plentiful, the mouse behaved as foreseen in an ideal world he place them in. Although as they multiplied and space became insufficient, he observed unpredictable shifts in the rat’s behavior. Girls refuse to reproduce and become more and more hostile while guys became withdrawn and stopped courtship. Unsocial restriction has much been adopted as a torture tool therefore don’t use it on yourself. Go out to some open space, preferably out of city, at least once a week. You’ll love the experience.
