Unlawful Erectile Enhancement Drugs And FDA Compliance

There has been a warning released by the US Food and Drug Administration over concerns about a sexual enhancement drug sold on the internet. A list of products designed to increase sexual performance was released by the FDA in 2004 because their ingredients were a risk to human health. The makers of these drugs were breaching FDA compliance and federal law by failing to fully disclose all of the ingredients in the drugs.
A few of the many drugs that were found to be breaking the law include Lycium Barbarum L., Adam Free, Rhino V Max, V.Max, True Man, Energy Max, HS Joy of Love, NaturalUp, Blue Steel and Erextra.
You can see the full list of illegal products on the FDA’s website. All of them are advertised as a way to increase your sexual performance or treat problems with erections. However, the ingredients in the drugs can have severe health effects on men who are already using other prescription drugs or indeed some herbal remedies.
Stiff Nights is the product to come under fire from the FDA in recent weeks. The active ingredients are not listed on the website or on the packaging and it is listed as an all natural dietary supplement though this is far from the truth. Withholding ingredients is in breach of FDA compliance and the drugs marketing regulations. It is the law that every ingredient should be listed because they can interact with prescription drugs and have serious health consequences.
Those men who suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease are especially at risk. Sulfoaildenafil is the main cause of this and it is the same ingredient that comes in the legal medicine Viagra. When sulfoaildenafil and nitrate drugs are taken together they can seriously lower blood pressure. Nitrates are commonly found in the medicines used to treat the above conditions and a side effect of them can be erectile dysfunction.
Because the product is advertised as ‘all natural’, many unsuspecting men are taking the drug without knowing that it could seriously damage their health. A customer complaint led the FDA to investigate Stiff Nights. The FDA decided to release a consumer warning after it had conducted an investigation.
