Eyesight exercises can enhance your eyesight without fuss

Our eyes are often compared to our muscles and glasses are often compared to “crutches”. A number of vision|eyesighteyesight “gurus” believe that through using glasses, you impair your eye muscles and corrupt your vision|eyesight. Hence, they concluded, you have to do eye exercises to “strengthen” them.

However is that true?

Think about it. What are the poor vision habits that make your vision to corrupt in the first place? Staring and squinting in the dark makes your eye muscles to strain and tighten… assuming that anything makes vision degenerate, it is not “weak eye muscles”, it is strain!

The term “eye exercises” are very much misleading. They’re indeed, more like “breathing exercises”. Eye exercises calms your eye muscles, not strengthen them! They achieve this through encouraging correct vision habits and when you do them religiously, you’ll subconsciously pick up the ideas behind them.

When you once again grasped proper vision habits, your eyes will readily see sharply again. Spectacles are poor not because it “cripple” your eye muscles… they are poor because they didn’t let your eye muscles to relax!

Just like your other senses, vision is suppose to be effortless. You don’t find yourself “trying” to hear, touch, smell or taste. Even assuming that you plan to do so, you can’t. That is the phase you are aiming for: effortless vision! Also it could only be achieved assuming that you get rid of your glasses and do eye relaxation exercises. Naturally, always make sure you put on your glasses whenever you undertake hazardous activities like driving or crossing the road!

However, you should also consider how not wearing spectacles will affect your vision habit. Will it make you stare even more? If this is the case, you should consider buying spectacles with 2 to 3 degrees lower than your prescription for vision improvement. This will enable you to see acceptably clear but at the same time enables room for improvement.
