My Sports-loving Brother Will Certainly Enjoy Life Right Here!

I’ve been attempting to convince my brother to move to Florida for years. Finally, he has caved; he arrives subsequent month! I really want my sports-aholic brother to be pleased here, so I did some research of local teams. Now, he just has to choose some to root for!

Supporting Teams In Miami

My brother is a extremely particular about his sporting preferences. A common rule of thumb, based on him, is an activity can only be called a sport if it entails a person running. Somehow, golf has managed to slip in as a sport; but auto racing stays firmly outside the realm! Either way, I figured he could find something to amuse him at 1 of Miami’s college athletic departments: Florida International Golden Panthers and Miami Hurricane.

My all-time favorite sport is baseball. I was really looking forward to taking my brother to some Florida Marlins games. I’ve currently been to quite a few games, so I know all the most significant info by heart. For example, I can tell him precisely where to find the best hotdog vendors!

I attempted not to let my individual preferences sway my research at all. If my brother wanted to check out those sports that had been super complicated yet super boring (ehem…soccer) or ridiculously violent (did someone mention hockey?), more power to him. He could watch all the Miami Fusion soccer games and Florida Panther hockey matchups he wanted. He just might have to visit them alone!

I bet there’s over 1 Miami chiropractor who’s kept crazy busy by all the sports connected injuries the local athletes suffer. I’m sure the Miami Dolphins football players sustain 1 or two a day. Or probably more accurately, an hour! And the Miami Heat (NBA) and Miami Sol (WNBA) athletes probably get banged up pretty great too. No doubt my brother would be in attendance for numerous of their games; he loves both football and basketball.

What Teams Are In Tampa?

Tampa was also an additional happening place to be. My brother could find ample sources of amusement at Tampa’s numerous sporting endeavors. Starting in the bottom rung, I checked out local college teams. My brother would be pleased to discover that the South Florida Bulls had a viable golf program; golf was his all-time favorite sport.

The Tampa Bay Devil Rays are a fairly new team, founded in 1998. As such, I haven’t gotten too attached to that baseball team yet. However, I’d be over pleased to venture more than to Tampa with my brother if he wanted to take in a couple of games.

While I would be prepared to create the journey more than to Tampa to watch a baseball game, I doubted if I might be enticed to travel to get a Tampa Bay Mutiny soccer game. A Tampa Bay Lightning matchup wouldn’t hold my attention either. I wonder if a Tampa chiropractor stays busy with those hockey boys. I’m sure the Lightning players get banged up pretty great!

Tampa doesn’t have a NBA or WNBA team. I guess my bother will just need to be happy with football (his second favorite sport) if he desires to support an expert team in Tampa. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers happen to be around because 1976 and play within the Raymond James Stadium.

All in all, it looked like Florida had quite the assortment of athletic talent. My brother would be ecstatic! I hope it tends to make his transition to Florida a bit simpler.
