.Eat regularly – Instead of eating 3 big meals a day, eat 5-6 meals after every 2-3 hours. Instead of filling your appetite with junk food keep fruits, raw vegetables, nuts or skimmed milk with you. This will keep your sugar level and appetite balanced.
.Water – Drink 8-12 glasses of water each day. Water helps curb your appetite in a strange way. Water fills your tummy and makes you feel full for a while. It does not only curb your craving but is healthy in fact essential for your fitness.
.Dill Pickles – Instead of fulfilling your craving with anything sweet or salty, eat dill pickles and see how they help you curb the hunger.
.Postpone – When felt the urge to eat, try postponing it for a while. Drink water instead and content yourself by planning your treat after a few hours. You’ll see that by postponing, the urge to eat might won’t even exist at all after those hours.
.The key is moderation – You might not be able to resist your favorite foods and give in to eating them, but the key is moderation. Take small proportion and treat yourself by a few bites. If you totally eliminate then you might crave for more and end up eating more than usual.
.Healthy foods – Take notice of what you crave for the most and try finding healthy alternatives. If you love chocolate then try eating dark chocolate which has lots of antioxidants. If you love eating crackers then replace it with vegetable and olives. Add more of vegetables and fruits o keep you full. Once your stomach feels full, it won crave for even your favorite food.
.Strong willpower – It all ends with you having a strong will power. You need to be determined with eating healthy foods and resisting yourself but not suppressing the urge. Make sure that in the process you don’t do more harm than good. Try controlling your cravings and stiffen yourself against sweets and big pieces of cakes. Always remind yourself that whatever you’re doing is for your own good and you’ll soon have a healthy lifestyle.
