Dealing with negative people is a big challenge in our everyday lives, and we tend to become personally engaged when people in our lives are difficult or even unhappy. This is where intuitive coaching can really help. As an intuitive coach, I tell my clients that it is important to be dispassionate when dealing with difficult people, and not take their anger or unhappiness upon yourself by feeling responsible or by defending yourself.
They might see their unhappiness or anger mirrored in you, but that does not make you responsible for their feelings or actions. You must not try to identify with them nor try to make them ‘feel happy’, but you are able to talk to hard folks and feel empathy with them. Empathy is an important tool in our life’s toolbox, and can be a focal point in several intuitive coaching lessons.
It is possible to ask hard folks if they require your support without you assuming responsibility and asking what you’ve got completed to upset them. You must not steer clear of them, but can show compassion without assuming responsibility, and remain happy your self in performing so. In other words, you might be not responsible for their feelings or attitudes, but you are able to show understanding in an objective manner. Most people will respond to your actions, because positive actions tend to spill over to others. Inside the very same way, negative actions are contagious. Should you keep this in mind, you will understand that your actions have an effect on the actions of those around you, and in turn you will be able to deal successfully with negative folks.
Should you understand how to deal with negative folks, you will locate that life becomes more positive. Not only will you enjoy working with others, you will begin to look forward to adjusting a negative person’s behavior and transform a negative into a positive.
