You love him however he is in love with someone else, is there a system to mend your broken heart? You have been adoring him privately, been friends with him forever and you know that he is “the one”! How great your relationship might be and how greatly you desire to be with him is all you can think about but… he is in love with someone else.

It is very distressing to see him with someone else just as it can be extremely painful when you can’t be with him, the one you love. Is there a way to get him to love you? If you plan to one day have a relationship with him you’ll have to be patient. The resolution to these types of situation can take a lengthy time. You must keep your distance while he is with the other person however during this time you should remain good friends to him but do not force yourself on him.

Also, when in the presence of him, you should never be critical or make critical remarks about his current girlfriend. This will reveal two qualities in a woman that a guy does not like, jealousy and vindictiveness, which is how you will look. If this girl is a nice girl and he is happy with her then just be there for him… as his friend. If she is not a nice person then you are still going to have to be patient, he has to see it for himself. You will be there for him and to help pick up the pieces when he does become aware of it and she breaks his heart.

You should date other people while you are being tolerant and waiting for him. This is to explore your options, keep an open mind, and not to make him jealous. Don’t look for something serious but you need to be out there enjoying your life while you wait. Spending your life waiting for that special person and then they never come to you is the absolute worse. Who knows? Maybe you’ll fall in love with someone else.

Another idea is that you could befriend his girlfriend thus making you an everlasting fixture in his life. This will give you the opportunity to see if she loves him as much as he does her and you may even start to actually like her. Should anything go wrong, this will allow you to be close by him to offer support.

If there is any chance that you can get together, this will only make your relationship stronger. Because honesty and trust are already present and it is my belief that remarkable relationships are constructed on friendship. Because he has been friends with you for such a lengthy time, he already knows who you are and loves you for you so there is no need for you to try and be someone you think he wants you to be. You’ve seen him at his best and his worst as he has with you and you still love him because of your friendship.

You must have patience in anticipation of him seeing the light and realizing that you are “the one” for him. You need to continue to go out with other men, to have fun and to be a wonderful friend to him, in other words, live your life. By continuing to be part of his life through your friendship and being ecstatic for him you will not have to mend your broken heart. If he is with you or not and if you really love him you’ll be happy for him.
