Energyize Yourself for Good Health

You may be asking yourself what exactly does it mean to Alkalize Your Body or, more specifically, How Can You Alkalize your Body for Good Health. We are going to talk about what alkalizing your body means in this article.
Changing the pH of your body is what I am referring to as alkalizing your body. Dr. Robert Young is a microbiologist and uses the term New Biology and has dedicated years to studying the effects that the pH level in your body has on your cells. Just like your body needs to maintain a specific temperature, it must also maintain a pH which is slightly higher than 7 which means it is slightly alkaline. The good news is that your body is very good at maintaining that level and has ways of changing the pH if you start getting acidic. The bad news is that most people do not like the way the body handles acid. It may store acid in fat cells making a person over-weight, it may line the walls of your arteries with cholesterol which leads to heart problems, or it may leach calcium out of your bones to neutralize the acid. There are other things that the body will do and none of them are particularly pleasant. As you can see, it is very important to alkalize your body. In fact, many people will go as far as to say alkalize or die!
If you are wondering what it really means to alkalize your body, the answer is really very simple. Stop putting acid into your body and start putting alkalizing foods and drinks into your body. Acidic foods include meat, dairy products, eggs, and sugars. All of these foods leave an acidic residue when they are digested. Alkalizing foods are primarily fruits and vegetables. A simple thing is to try to eat more “live” foods like fruits and vegetables than acidic foods. It is also extremely important to nourish your body by taking all natural health supplements and vitamins and drink a lot of water. In fact, you should drink at least half your weight in ounces of water. For example, if you weigh 140 lbs, you should drink at least 70 ounces of water. As you start to become more alkaline, you will experience a phenomenon referred to as Alkalize and Energize and start to be full of energy and vitality!
There are also several great supplements that help you get tons of alkalizing nutrients. I personally use super greens once or twice a day to help make sure I get plenty of alkalizing nutrients.
