Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or OCD, is a type of anxiety disorder where a person is plagued by repeated, unwanted thoughts, fears and obsessions or the need to do repetitive behaviours such as counting as they walk, excessive cleaning, washing hands, or checking to see if the stove is off several times before leaving the house.

A few nights ago I had a friend for dinner and she was telling me how OCD has been affecting her life since the eighth grade.
